I wanted to thank all those who wrote me regarding Meiko not touching any food for more than a 24 hr period. Although, he started eating again the next day, I called the vet...she told me to watch and see if he did it again...
Nope, he instead coughed up a BIG fur ball...ran to the computer and rechecked a few posts before mine to the 'what is hair ball remedy?' post - learned a great deal - ran out and bought a tube of Petromalt, and long story short - HAVE A VERY HAPPY KITTY!
Seems my little one is going to be quite a sheader <sp?>...but the vet assures me that the remedy will do the trick, so much to learn being a mom! Again, thanks for all your help!
Also, I bought the IAMS food, and he purrs while he eats! Good stuff
