Greetings all...

I'd like to know how many people who live in high rises have cats?

I used to live on the 27th floor near the ocean and we kept Sascha indoors all the time but I somehow felt she was missing the trees, the grass and everything a ground floor house has. However, we NEVER had any problems with fleas which was a great thing.

I may be moving to a high rise again some time next year and wanted to know whether many others do the same and how they cope?

All replies appreciated!!

Regards Imran C.

I live in somewhat of a highrise (6th floor) and my two kitties are just fine. They love to sit in the windowsill and watch the traffic and birds, etc. They have each other to torment, so they get out their energy. At first, my second kitty was afraid of the window and wouldn't go near it. Now- I can't get her away from it - she loves it.

It may take some adjusting - but as long as you're there, it will be home for your kitties!

Good luck!
