Hi all you kitties out there. My name's Annie and this is my first posting. While mommy was getting ready for work this morning, she was looking in this big wooden box with a lid for a sweater to wear. Being the fashion-conscious feline that I am, I decided to help her choose what to wear. As I was peeking into the box to pick a sweater, mommy closed the lid on my paw!! I cried twice before mommy caught on to what she did, then I run, run, run away and hid under the table. She came to me and apologized over and over again. My brother Jake even came over to see if he could help. I think mommy must have felt very bad 'cause the water monsters were attacking her eyes. So I soaked up all the sympathy and then got up and hopped up onto the couch for a snooze! Mommy promised me a special treat for dinner tonight, since I'm not as fond of Pounce as Jake is.

Have a furry happy day!

Poor Annie. Our moms don't seem to understand that our pawz and tailz can sometimes hang around long after the rest of our body leaves. Or, even, can get there BEFORE the rest of our body arrives. My mom scrinched-scrunched-mashed-mangled my poor paw in the door one day when I put it in the open-crack trying to get outside. She shut the door. On my paw. And my paw is BIIIIG, lots of toes on my paw. Lots of paw to hurt. I made sure to SCREEEEECH as loud as I could so the neighbors would hear and know that Mom abused me. She grabbed me and kissed my paw and raced me to TED and carried on somethin fierce. Nothing was broken, but she sure learned a lesson! Mike

Jake here: I definitely rule! Whenever mommy and Annie start to play with the bat on a stick, I always take over. After all, it's *my* toy. So Annie ends up behind the chair, watching me have fun! If she's on the chair and I want to lay there, I just wedge my body in there and she moves. Other than that, we get along pretty well. Nice to have someone to chase and to clean those hard to reach spots for you.

Yes! Furry good! A house the way it _should_ be. Unfortunately, Ashley was here 6 years before me and refuses to relinquish control. I just can't seem to convince her that boy kitties are supposed to rule. Olive I think I've got her under control. All I have to do is bite her neck just like I used to do to girl kitties when I was living in the woods before the Operation (I was supposed to do something else, but I can't remember what!)
