Hi efferykitty, Tabby here. Iz furry mad at mommie. She brought home a new boykitty about a month ago. I think I kinda like him. He plays with me and runs with me and gets mommie to give us more fud. I think he is funfunfun. Sometimes he is a pain by attacking my tail and stuff but mostly he is ok.
Iz is mad at mommie for this. Iz don't know why but I am. Iz growl when she trys to hold me and I make her feel bad. I don't understand why Iz do this but Iz do. She and I had a talk tonight and she was very mad and upset. She says that she loves me but Iz not sure since she brought in this new guy. Maybe she wants to replace me. I don't know how to get over being mad at her. Any kitty have any ideas. I really don't want her to be sad and upset but we aren't friends right now.
Ring butting in. Mommie and I are really goodgoodgood friends. She is really nice and I love my new home. Iz don't know what by sisters problem is but she is a grump to mommie. Any kitty know what we can do to make it all better???
Tabby and Ring
Note from mommie: Tabby is really mad at me and I don't know what to do. She was really lonesome when I got Ring and she took to him right away. A few little tiffs but generally all is good. At least with Ring. Not with me. And I am wondering if she may be sick and that is contributing to this. Tabby usually does not get sick but today she spit up clear mucous stuff. No hacking or heaving just suddenly this stuff (and not alot). A few times today it looked like she was getting sick again but did not. I don't know if this is stress or she is sick. I am completely stumped. I don't know what to do about anything. I guess I am also having a bad night and maybe things will look better in the morning. Sorry for the vent.
Sandy (mommie of Tabby and Ring)

I did take Tabby to the vet tonight because Ring already had an appointment for his last vaccinations. The vet was not concerned and said she could have a minor virus or just hairball. No fever, lungs and heart sound good and throat feels ok. Hopefully it is hairballs and will go away with more hairball stuff.
Tabby does sneak in a purr once in a while especially if we are alone. As soon as she sees Ring growl city. At least she still comes around me and this morning she jumped on the bed and walked over me. She used to give me lap cuddles every morning and this is a definite improvement.

ANNUDDER MUMMIE U/B
Hi Sandy I daren't address this to the kitties. If you are concerned that Tabby is becoming ill take her to the vet now and catch it early. She may be hurting from playing a little roughly too.
Don't feel badly about her growling at you. Rory has growlfests often these days because of The PS, and they've been here about 5 months. I just don't take any notice, often he can't help mingling a purr in with it. I don't take it purrsonally, I just think he's a grump. However, from your description there maybe cause to think she is 'coming down with something.'
Hugs and comfort Kate

just break your heart, dont they? Malusee was pretty stand-offish when I got Caitlin. I felt SO guilty! I would cry myself to sleep even, wondering if I did the wrong thing because Malusee was always so cuddly. And Caitlin was so small and I worried that Malusee would hurt her while working out the top cat issue...
It took some time, but Malusee is as cuddly as you could possible stand, and Caitlin is even becoming pretty smurggly herself lately. They get along good most of the time, a few bickers/playing/Idontknowwhat here and there, but nothing major. Sorry, nothing Serious.
Also, you should try to figure out which one is top cat and pay them more attention. Sounds strange, doesnt it? I always tried to treat them equally, dont play favorites, etc. But it turns out that it can make it worse that way! Upsets the natural order or something. I have yet to figure out which of my girls is 'top'!
smurggles to both the kittys and their worried momma
