kitten wanted

I'm looking for a kitten to adopt. Since I don't have one before, I'm open to any kind but will be indoor. If anyone has any information, please let me know. I'm in the Boston area in MA. Thanks.

The best place to find a kitten to adopt (in any city) is to go to your local animal shelter. There you will find more choice than you can imagine. The sad part is that there are many more cats and kittens than will ever be adopted.

Why not go to the local shelter or Humane Society and rescue a kitten from there?

Try the Animal Rescue League on Tremont St. downtown. It's right at an entrance to the Mass Turnpike. They should be in the phone book under Animal Shelters. The adoption fee covers spaying and first shots (if I remember correctly). If you rent, make sure to talk to your landlord first because the shelter worker will call to make sure that you are allowed to have pets. They will also give you lots of info on the care of your new kitty. Good luck!
