The most important thing to do is to eliminate the urine odor COMPLETELY from the spots where she has been peeing; otherwise, she'll just keep going back to the same spots. 'Nature's Miracle' may help, but the areas have to be thoroughly saturated with the stuff and allowed to dry. Another application may be necessary. If there's carpet involved, the cleaner has to soak through the pad, to the floor.

Has the urinary tract infection completely cleared up? If not, she's still going in those inappropriate places, because she associates pain with her litter box, because that's where the trouble (i.e., the pain while trying to urinate) started.

If she continues to pee in the living room even when she's healthy, talk to your vet about the possibility of putting your cat on anti-anxiety medication, such as Elavil, Valium, Buspar or Prozac.

It is vital to make sure that you clean the pee up with a strong detergent and/or bleach, if not the puddy tat will think that this is the corect place to pee. Do you have a litter try in the house? If she has been used to going out side then maybe she is being bullied and doesn't feel safe doing the biss out side. Also how old is the cat and has she had the chop? If not it could be spraying, does it happen sort of every week, if so then it could be spraying!

Cheers
