I scoop at least once a day if I can. Everything goes into a small paper sack and then is also wrapped in a plastic bag that I save from grocery shopping. Not good with the paper waste, but I always have a plenitude of plastic grocery bags, and I have to cover the smell completely before I put it in the trash. My cat for some reason, likes to sniff around it and try to dig it out when I clean his box.
