Cat on lap at computer

My older cat Fluff loves to curl up and sleep on my lap when I'm at the computer. He knows I'll be here for awhile. Sometimes he stands up and stretches his back high with his back up against my wrists pulling my hands off of the keyboard. I always talk, hug, and pet him and then continue with my typing. If this continues consistantly for lots of attention, I give him my attention for awhile and then put him down off my lap. Sometimes he hops up again and goes to sleep, sometimes he disappears for 1/2 hour and arrives again to start over. But he loves my lap at the computer even though I have to sit an extra 3/4 - a foot away so he can curl up. What we won't do to spoil our cats!

Sam does this to me too, until recently it was hard to keep my hands on the mouse and the keyboard. Now, though I have the new version of OS/2 with the voice dictation and navigation, so I can use my voice to get around the system and dictate my posts/emails/whatever. Sam loves it too because now she gets petted more!

my two cats fight over who gets to sit on my lap. they start fights and whenever i'm at the computer (including now) which ever one that gets to me first rubs it in the other's face. like by cuddleing more obviously when the other is watching. it's accually funny when you sit there and watch it. giz
