Cat Breed That Doesnt Shed?

I remember seeing a cat breed that doesn't shed.

The woman put the white cat onto her black sweater, and like a magic trick, she put the cat down, and NO cat hair was left behind! The cat had long hair, and looked and felt a bit like a sheepskin rug.

Does anyone know the name of the breed? I'd love to hear anything anyone knows about this breed: temperment, anyone who breeds them, sources of other information....

I believe the cat you saw was a Devon Rex. I don't know their temprament, but my experience has been that has more to do with the breeder & whether they were properly spoiled from birth

I believe the cat you saw was a Devon Rex.

There are three breeds that are low/no shed: Devon Rex, Cornish Rex, Sphynx. It was probably one of the first two since a sphynx is pretty distinctive looking for having *no* hair.
