Strayer, who is doing some really wonderful work, has excellent news:The Neuter scooter will be back in Oregon sometime in July.
I’m not sure yet where the clinics will be held, but this will be a great opportunity for Oregon cats once again. Last time they were here, in four clinics in Pendleton and Milton Freewater, 400 Oregon cats got fixed. Four days. 400 cats. Owned, stray and feral. People lined up for the service because there aren’t many low cost options available in many communities.
A lot of sponsoring is needed to fund this neutering you can contact strayer from cats eyes here.
In case you’re not familiar with her work, Strayer spends her days traping cats and picking up cats from various owners in her area (near or far) taking them to be neutered. She does this voluntarily, often footing the costs her self.
